Many healthcare professionals prefer to refer their patients directly to The Road Back for assistance with the pre-taper portion of this program, while they work directly with the patient on reducing the medication at the correct time.

Several naturopaths and chiropractors administer the nutritional portion of The Road Back Program and refer their patients to a medical doctor for the reduction of the medication.
